How awesome that I got to see this couple not once, but twice one weekend? Jess was a bridesmaid in her friend Jill's wedding (blog post on that coming soon!) and Zach was there to enjoy the celebration. It was so funny because I had met Zach at the couple's wedding consultation, but when I saw him out of context on the wedding day it took me forever to figure out who he was! Then I saw him chatting with Jess after the ceremony and it all made sense. Two days later, I was meeting up with them at Zach's place in Excelsior on a spectacular late summer evening for their engagement session. We started with some photos with Cash the dog, who was very well behaved and super cute. The sunset was absolutely striking, creating a stunning backdrop for these two lovebirds' photos. Zach and Jess were so easy to photograph - they are just so natural, happy and loving around each other. It didn't hurt that I kept asking them to look at each other and just pretend like I wasn't there snapping photos for a second. We explored the adjacent park and went all the way down the trail to the lake, back to the spot where Zach popped the question! It was an awesome evening spent with these two and I can't wait to capture their wedding this coming December!
