Ryan & Jill – two people simply created for each other – were wed on a beautiful Saturday in August surrounded by their friends and family in Cologne, MN. Starting the day off by getting ready out at the Rolf family farm, the girls had fun doing their Jamberry manicures while their green dresses looked great hanging alongside Jill's gorgeous wedding gown. The couple were so excited to see each other for the first time on the big day - Ryan could hardly wait to turn around to see his beautiful bride! What a happy first look to witness. These two are like magnets to one another. Jill was absolutely stunning in her lace dress, with her green and white bouquet that even included some herbs as an ode to Jill's love of gardening. Of course, adorable puppy Roscoe did his best to try to steal the show, with his dashing green bowtie and all! The grove of pine trees on the farm made me feel like I was back up in Northern MN. The wedding party was so much fun and always kept me guessing what they were going to do next! Its no surprise that we also had to get a photo of all the groomsmen (and one of the ring bearers) with Ryan's impressive chainsaw collection!

After we wrapped up at the farm, the laughter-filled wedding ceremony followed at Zion Lutheran Church just down the road. The pastor's hilarious message began with talking about Ryan's love of motors--and love of a good deal. What a happy ceremony! We stopped back at the farm for a few more wedding party photos and some cold drinks in the shop, then it was off to the reception at the Cologne Community Center, just in time for a big storm to hit! We couldn't have timed it more perfectly. The tree-themed reception decor was certainly unique, with the tables being labeled with different kinds of trees. The cake topper was my favorite little detail - couldn't have been more fitting with a puppy figure chasing after the couple's silhouette. Instead of clanking glasses, Ryan & Jill decided that their guests needed to use duck calls to get them to kiss! (I think this was Ryan's way of finding new hunting buddies). Jessica's speech had everyone giggling when she shared that the thing Jill was most looking forward on their wedding day was "kissing Ryan." Good thing I made them do a lot of that! The dance started to a live band, with Ryan singing the 3rd verse of their first dance song to Jill. What a sweet touch. Soon after, the wedding party (aka Hermann & Witte) and guests tore up the dance floor for the rest of the evening. Wishing my biggest congratulations to you two, Ryan & Jill!
