After a very long wait, Roslyn Jo finally made her entrance to the world to an excited mom and dad! Joe and Brittany were so happy to add their not-so-little little Rosie to their family. Roslyn is already very expressive, grumpy looking faces are already her favorite. Brittany put together the cutest set up for the birth announcement - with a tape measure, a rose, along with a calendar and clock showing what time the world was graced with Rosie's presence. My clients surprise me with the best ideas! Joe's favorite portraits of his new little lady were probably with the camouflage, pheasant feathers and duck calls - an ode to the couple's love of duck hunting (Fun fact: Joe proposed to Brittany in a duck blind!). It is only fitting that Roslyn's wonderfully decorated nursery follows a wooded nature theme, complete with trees on the wall, a tree stump side table, and framed photos of some whimsical forest creatures. I love being able to show off moms' and dads' hard work that they put into preparing the nursery for their new arrival, which always make a meaningful backdrop for baby's first photos. Roslyn already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger and he has the magic touch to put her right to sleep in his arms. Four-legged sister Marlowe is still adjusting to the human addition to her family, but seems to enjoy licking Roslyn's cheeks whenever possible. Congratulations, Navratils! I am looking forward to watching her grow.
