A beautiful day in Minneapolis gave Kevin the perfect opportunity to pop the question to his lovely girlfriend, Anna, on the Stone Arch Bridge with the buildings of downtown in the background. I grew up with Kevin and his younger sister, who happened to message me about an hour before Kevin got down on one knee and somehow my schedule was free and I zoomed off to Minneapolis to capture the excitement. It worked perfectly since Anna did not yet know me, so I had no problem blending into the crowd. When I arrived to the park, Kevin was practicing the song he was going to sing, with Anna's sister playing guitar. Anna's sister, Kristin, was also instrumental (haha, pun intended!) in getting Anna to believe they were meeting up for lunch on that sunny afternoon. Once Anna said she was leaving work, Kristin and her friend Maria headed across the bridge, while Kevin and Alyssa stayed back. Kevin and Alyssa pretended like they had just also happened to be in the area so they decided to meet up. Kevin handed the guitar off to Kristin and took Anna by the hand and began to sing "Forever Like That." Once she realized something special was happening I was able to move in closer. After a few sweet verses, Kevin pulled out the sparkling ring while getting down on one knee, and asked Anna that very important question! She said yes! After many hugs and kisses and putting that ring on, the newly engaged couple was congratulated by Kristin, Alyssa, and Maria! What an exciting moment. I don't think Anna realized I was there taking photos until this point. We continued with a few more photos on the picturesque bridge and in the park; how fun to get portraits taken right after the proposal! Congratulations Kevin & Anna, Happy wedding planning!
