Aj & Tiffany opted to get married in a small, intimate ceremony and it couldn't have been a more way for them to become husband and wife! The August day was warm and certainly felt like a hot summer day. I started off by photographing some of the unique details - from the bride's teal floral patterned dress, to her stunning ring & heirloom pearl necklace. A good friend put together the bridal bouquet using flowers from the local farmer's market & tied it with twine, the scent of lavender was heavenly! The couple had their first look out in the front yard of the groom's childhood home and they were so excited to see each other! The sun kept trying to peak out at moments while I took portraits of the bride and groom together. I kept making them get closer and closer despite the heat and humidity! Before the ceremony, we took a few group photos but thanks to COVID it was a very small gathering. Then it was time to get married! Aj's cousin delivered a message that was both touching and humorous, vows were exchanged, and a first kiss later, Aj and Tiffany were pronounced Mr. and Mrs! Such a fun and exciting way to have a wedding, I hope this is a trend that sticks around! | |
