|It was a beautiful June day for Andrew & Ellen to tie the knot in a wonderful ceremony at the Basilica of St Francis Xavier in Dyersville, IA. The girls got dressed to the nine while the guys polished up their looks in navy suits. All of the details were so simple and came together so well, from the soft flowers to the blush pink bridesmaid dresses. After a sweet and excited first look outside the church, a family friend's vintage cop car showed up for bride & groom portraits - perfect for the sheriff deputy getting married. The wedding party & family looked great for their portraits and then it was time for the ceremony inside the stunning church. Once pronounced husband and wife, the new mister and mrs left to the cheers of their guests and hopped on a trolley to celebrate with their bridal party. After a few stops at some local watering holes, the party made it back to the reception hall, just in time for dinner, speeches, and the dances. This wedding was particularly special to me as the bride Ellen and I went to college together - and she encouraged me to pursue photography as a career! I have to give her so many thanks! This day felt incredibly full circle to me in that aspect. Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Reuter!|
