After SEVEN years, Andy & Jess got to say "I Do" on a sunny July day in front of their friends & family at St. Victoria Catholic Church in Victoria, MN. Jess's wedding gown was a dream! Absolutely perfect for her, it was soft and had just the right amount of sparkle. I loved that her bouquet included touches from both of her grandma's - pearls from one, and a piece of a blue handkerchief from her other grandma so that they could be with Jess on her wedding day. After doing first looks with both of her parents (with plenty of tears shed), it was time to see the groom! Outside the quaint church, Andy & Jess got to see each other for the first time on their wedding day and soak up the moment (thank goodness for tissues!). After some portraits of the bride & groom together, we rallied the wonderful wedding party and family for some group photos. Then it was time for the reason of the whole day - the wedding ceremony! As they were pronounced Mr & Mrs Burdick for the first time, the couple exited the church to excited cheers & applause, receiving many hugs from all their loved ones outside. Hopping onto the waiting party bus, the wedding party got to celebrating with the bride & groom. A sunny spot in downtown Victoria by Lake Steiger was a great backdrop for some more portraits. We also had to make a stop where it all started..the car wash! The reception at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre was full of hoots & hollers as Andy & Jess pulled couples' names out of a basket - after the glasses clinking, they kissed and then they picked another couple in attendance to kiss too. And boy, was the request well received by many couples there! The speeches that followed were some of my absolute favorites - I think Jess' dad had everyone in happy tears about the "original manufacturers request" while her sisters had everyone crying tears of love with their speech themed on the kids book, "I'll Love You Forever." After some more kisses and yummy cupcakes, it was time to head upstairs to the dance floor. The wedding party and guests sure tore it up! There was not a dull moment at that dance. Before I headed out, I grabbed the newlyweds for a few nighttime photos with the dinner theater marquee lit up against the dark sky. How stunning! Congratulations, Andy & Jessica! Your wedding was an absolute blast & had me reaching for tissues the whole day.
