Ever since they contacted me, I was looking forward to Jamie & Ellen's engagement session something fierce! These two are some of the most fun-lovin people I know and any time spent with them is sure to result in lots of laughs! I met up with this couple at Ellen's grandma's farm outside of Norwood Young America, MN on a balmy June evening. Despite being almost carried away by mosquitos, these two rocked it in front of my camera and had a great time capturing their engagement pictures. Jamie & Ellen started off with some NDSU clothing - the shirt Ellen has on is actually how Jamie popped the question! Ellen no doubt fits right in with the Foltz family! One of my favorite images from their session is the black and white one, just 3 down from the top - I love how their happiness and joy just exudes from that one. After a quick clothing change, we managed to catch a bit of the sunset peeking through the clouds! We chatted about Jamie & Ellen's first date to the movie, as well as laughing about some embarrassing moments. The golden sun-kissed field was an amazing backdrop for some of these images. Before we wrapped up, it was time for one more clothing change into a cute blue dress for Ellen and a mint green striped button down for Jamie - a great combo! They danced some in the field and also checked out the cute swing in Grandma's tree. We ended with some painted windows that Ellen & her mom created for their wedding decor. I can't wait for the big celebration next May! Its going to be a blast!
