After dating for many, many years (I know the feeling!), Jason & Mandi finally got to tie the knot on one of the most beautiful spring days. I met up with the bride and her bridesmaids at the couple's new home while they were getting all prettied up. All of Mandi's little details were just so darling - my favorite was the necklace Jason gave her for their first Christmas together. Her belt included a touch from her grandpa which was so sweet. Once she put on her lace dress, her little sister helped her get it buttoned up. We headed down to Lake Waconia to meet up with her groom - they did their first look in the same place where Jason proposed! The green of the trees and the grass was a stunning backdrop for the couple's wedding portraits. The flowers had special touches including photos of their grandparents. The girls looked so fun in their ombre dresses - and they had pockets! The guys got to show off their superhero socks..including donuts? (Haha Brian!) Being as this isn't my first Lueth wedding, it was an enjoyable group to be around. We snuck in a few family photos before the ceremony got started with the glistening water of Lake Waconia in the background. The ceremony was led by Mandi's grandma and boy was she a hoot! After some laughs and happy tears, Jason & Mandi were pronounced husband and wife to the cheers of the crowd. And then the real party began with the bridesmaids and groomsmen with a game of tippy cup! Following that victory by the men, the new Mr. and Mrs. played an intense game of beer pong - a first at any wedding I've photographed! The bride won! Then it was time to head over to the Lake Waconia Event Center for dinner and speeches. There were so many hilarious moments shared, including some large inflatable bananas presented to the groom as well as a little show-off kiss, a throwback to Kevin & Rachel's wedding. Once the couple got a little dancing in, I stole them away to head outside to grab a few photos in the sunset by the lake. It did not disappoint! This was such a wonderful wedding, I hope that viewing these photos takes you back to this special day and you can feel the warmth, love, and sun! Congratulations, Jason & Mandi!
