elegant fall wedding | norwood young america wedding photographer | wes & mackenzie [married!]

After many years of dating and then a proposal under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Wes & Mackenzie said "I Do" on a fall day surrounded by their friends and family in Norwood Young America, MN. Mackenzie's dress was absolutely stunning and she made for one gorgeous bride! Outside St John's Church in NYA, Mackenzie's dad got to see his daughter for the first time, which was oh-so-sweet. Following some hugs and tears, Kenz continued on to see her groom waiting. I have never seen a guy smile so big at his bride! (I was already tearing up at this point!) Wes also surprised Kenz with an inscription on her ring - it says "I Love You" and their wedding date. The old-style church made a beautiful backdrop for some portraits of the bride and groom before rounding up the wedding party for the group photos. I loved the ladies different style dresses and the guys cleaned up well. After the family portraits, it was time to get married! Wes's smile was so big as he watched Kenz get escorted down the aisle by her dad. Pastor had us laughing all through the ceremony with his jokes. Wes & Kenz were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. for the first time and then ushered their guests out before hoping onto the party bus waiting with their wedding party outside. We stopped at Crown College on the beautiful afternoon for a few more wedding party and couple's portraits with the pretty scenery and warm glow of the sun. Then it was time to celebrate on the bus. Hamburg Hall was decorated so wonderfully, with elegant touches of Paris around. The speeches had everyone laughing and crying and then the band Ragtown took to the stage to get the dance started! What a fantastic day celebrating the love of this sweet couple. Congratulations, Wes & Mackenzie!
