| Zach and Jessica's easy love for each other, along with so many wonderful touches from hardworking family and friends brought together this amazing wedding day. On a crisp Saturday before Christmas, we arrived out to the Schmitz family farm to get everything started. The home was a buzz with the bridesmaids touching up their curls while their gorgeous gowns hung by the picture window. When Jessica slipped into her gown - her mother's own wedding gown - the house was filled with excitement. She looked so beautiful in that vintage lace. We stepped out to the backyard of the property for the couple's first look. Zach's smile was unmatched when he got to see his bride for the first time. The wedding party joined us in the December sun for some group photos, everyone looking stunning dressed to the nine's. The varied textures and sparkle of the individually-picked bridesmaids dresses blew me away. This was a very thrilling day as the final installment of the Jess, Jess and Jill ring photo was completed (the three girls got married within 6 months of each other and took a photo of the progression of their rings at each wedding). Zach and Jess couldn't have looked more perfect and in love during their portraits. We scurried off to the church for the family formals, and then it was time for the ceremony. Before the bride could walk down the aisle, she serenaded her groom with "Marry Me," causing her father to get 'something in his eye.' What a meaningful moment! Once the couple was pronounced husband and wife, the wedding party was whisked off in a horse and buggy! Up at the Pavilion, the reception hall was beautifully decorated. The highlight of the evening was the surprise change of pace in the daddy/daughter dance from a slow sway to an energetic remix, complete with rocking dance moves from Scott and Jess. The entire crowd was rolling in laughter! What a fun evening celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs.! Special thanks to my amazing second shooter, Katie, who captured some awesome moments throughout the day. Congratulations, Zach & Jess! |
