| I met up with expectant parents and high school sweethearts, Joe & Brittany, on the shores of Lake Waconia on a wonderfully sun-kissed spring evening. These avid duck hunters recently moved to Waconia and absolutely love the area and all the outdoor opportunities available. At one point during a break in the session, Joe even got out his binoculars to check out some of the wildlife flying over the lake. The couple got married at the end of this past summer and are expecting their first child in early June. Mama-to-be Brittany was radiant with that lovely expectant mom glow and it was heartwearming how daddy-to-be Joe looked so lovingly at his bride. We headed down a gravel road to let the sun sink a bit in the sky and found a nice grassy field, which made another great setting to highlight the beautiful couple. Joe and Brittany were so natural in front of the camera; he says he is an electrician and she an engineer, but I think they are lying to me and are actually models! Back to the lake shore, the softer sunset was hitting the water at just the right angle, for a few last images. I am looking forward to meeting what will be an undoubtedly beautiful baby in about a month! | |
