kyle & nicole [engaged!] | minneapolis engagement photographer

I was blessed to have a dear college friend, her fiancé, and their two pups come north for the weekend in Minnesota. Kyle & Nicole call Ottumwa, IA home and are planning a fall wedding there for next year! While in MN, we took advantage of a beautiful fall morning to travel to the picturesque Minnehaha Falls Park in Minneapolis to take photos to celebrate their engagement. We started off with a few shots with the fur babies, a black lab Hank & a golden doodle Samantha. The yellow and maroon depot nearby complimented the couple's plaid and denim look, matching the rustic theme of their upcoming wedding. I could not get over Nicole's gorgeous makeup! Kyle is not only an avid football fan, but a high school football officiant, so we definitely couldn't resist some Iowa Hawkeye wear - especially on game day! (They won!) These two love going to Hawkeye games together - which sounds like quite the experience. Before we wrapped up the session, we had to get a few shots with the rushing waterfalls. Thanks for a fun morning of laughter, you two! Can't wait for your wedding!
