Orange you glad I'm a wedding photographer? I know this lovely couple would say "Yes!" to that question - especially considering the color choices of John & Cristina's beautiful wedding party. These two souls are so deeply in love with one another and I was blessed to capture the first official day of their happily ever after! I started out the wedding day by capturing the important details adding to the day: Cristina's phenomenal bridal gown, the orange boutonnieres, silver sparkly heels, the custom cufflinks, the floral heirloom clutch, and everything orange and pink. After both parties got dressed to the nine's, John & Cristina had a meaningful moment of prayer together before the ceremony - but waited to see each other until that exciting walk down the aisle. What a sweet moment of love to witness. The stunning altar of the chapel at Grace Church in Eden Prairie was a spectacular backdrop for John & Cristina's ceremony and vows. After an exciting pronouncement of husband and wife to cheers of the crowd, John's 9 year old twins Reagan & Riley ran after the couple to be the first to congratulate them - bringing tears to all of our eyes! We headed outside to the beautiful sunshine for a few images of the newlyweds outside the church before making our way to Excelsior. The shores of Lake Minnetonka was a fantastic place for family and photos of the wedding party. John & Cristina were beaming with joy & love! Then it was time to head to Pique Travel to greet the guests and enjoy a very fun and personal reception. John's heart "flower wall" behind the head table was even more incredible than I had imagined! As the reception ended, guests were to take a flower from the heart as a favor, and to carry the couple's love with them. I have never seen so many little kids so good at dancing and tore up the dance floor all night!
