Goodness, I don't even know where to start with the words of this blog post. Even though we are both Minnesotans and have shockingly similar lives, Steph and I officially first met at Wartburg College down in the good 'ol state of Iowa. And then one snow stormy fateful evening while we were out celebrating Ms. Stephanie's 21st birthday, she met this lovely gentleman named Taylor. After several years of dating, multiple moves, and becoming puppy parents, Taylor popped the big question and wedding planning has begun! While visiting them over the recent holiday weekend, we took the opportunity to check out local Oxbow Park to take their engagement photos. Although I will be part of their big day, Taylor insisted that "no one else will be able to capture mine and Steph's love like Amanda." I was honored to do this session - this engagement has certainly been a long time coming! Steph enjoyed putting her ring on a cocklebur and Molly the white german shepherd had fun attempting to jump into the river (luckily we didn't allow her to succeed). Another great ring shot was all Taylor's idea - to show off the new bling along with his signature fish hook that can always be found on the brim his hat. We wrapped up the session on an awesome rolling gravel road, with some more shots with Molly and the new Ford. Congrats, Taylor & Steph - I cannot wait to celebrate with you on your big day!

I love all of them! You two are so cute together. My favorites are the first one in front of the barn, the cocklebur ring shot and the one in the back of the truck where we're looking straight on at it. Great job with the photos, Amanda! And congrats Steph and T!
