jeremy & rachel [married!] | belle plaine wedding photographer

Sparkle, ice blue, and love was everywhere on Jeremy and Rachel's wedding day! The bridal gown as absolutely stunning with just the right amount of bling, matched perfectly with an intricate brooch bouquet that was put together by Rachel's sister and bridesmaid. Many of the pins had belonged to the grandparents of the couple! Jeremy got blindfolded in preparation of the first look, where the couple saw each other for the first time with the church in the background. We took advantage of the warm temps (30 degrees was warm for this November!) to use the outside of the yellow brick church for some couple's and wedding party portraits. Back inside, the building's features gave some creative opportunities for a few more portraits of Rachel and Jeremy. The stained glass windows were so pretty and matched the sparkly theme quite well. A heartfelt ceremony followed, vows and rings exchanged before the couple's first kiss and presentation as the new Mr. and Mrs! The wedding party made a quick stop at Johan's before heading to the reception at the Cologne Community Center, which was decorated so beautifully with brooches, ice blue decorations and mason jars. Lots of kisses and laughs were shared during the reception and then the couple and the guests danced the night away.
