What a new and exciting addition to the family! Miss Margo was welcomed into the world by her proud parents, Jared and Elizabeth, along with "big brother" puppy Sagan. When I first arrived at their home for the session, I had to tell them how weird it was for me to be photographing them with a human baby..and not just their dog as I have done for several years. "Tiny Human" as they affectionally referred to Margo before her debut is as cute as cute can be. And oh so serious too! We stepped out into their lovely backyard for a few family shots and I love seeing how these two interact with their precious little one. Of course we had to get Sagan in a few images as well, especially considering he is the one that made the baby announcement of "Mom & Dad are getting me a human!" Back inside, the nursery's gray, white and yellow tree and bird wall provided a great backdrop. Jared hopes that someday Margo will name all the birds on her wall. I really enjoyed Elizabeth's exclamation of "We made that, Jared!" obviously referring to the newborn in his arms. Once Margo was well fed, she snoozed right on through her first portrait session. She slept so peacefully and is just a little doll. I always love seeing and capturing this wonderful family and cannot wait to watch this little one grow and blossom.

Love, love, love!! She just looks so skeptical all the time! Thank you for another great family photo session, Amanda. :)

My favorites are: the B&W one of her and I, the family one right underneath it, and the B&W of Jared holding her in the nursery.

AH! These are wonderful :D I think the B&W are my favorite ... but I love them all! Little Margo's questionable face, ah!
