The James' family photo session was made super special by not only having Greg's parents visiting from out of state, but also with the inclusion of the new puppy! It was an absolutely beautiful fall morning out in the crunchy orange leaves at the Carver Park Reserve to watch the dogs run around and sniff the leaves, while the kids chased after them. Having the grandparents around was awesome to have an extra hand for puppy wrangling. It was also really great to grab a few images of them solo, as they just celebrated 40 happy years of wedded bliss. They enjoy seeing their grandchildren as much as they can and had fun being in a few images. Older "brother" dog Dudley is now joined with stuffed-animal looking puppy Giant, who was given to the kids as a surprise in a homemade magic show much to their delight. Jaxon and Kylie are learning so much about taking care of their new puppy and of course cannot get enough of him. Its hard to believe how old Kylie looks with her curly hair and how much Jaxon has been working on his real smiles (along with his funny faces!). Enjoy looking back on this gloriously beautiful fall morning and this lovely family's portraits.
