09.01.12   [Cole & Kailee]

Kailee and I were college friends, our friendship starting at Wartburg College. Kailee often volunteered to be a model for my photo assignments, so I was delighted to hear she wanted me to capture her and her new husband's special day! This was my third-ever trip to Cedar Rapids (the second was for Cole and Kailee's engagement session back in May!) and by the presence of Hawkeye polos at the ceremony, to game updates during the reception, I reminded that I was in God's country. The rain held off during the outdoor ceremony - leftovers of Hurricane Isaac - and a breeze kept everyone comfortable. Dinner, a photo booth, and of course lots of dancing followed, including the wedding party bustin' a move during Cole and Kailee's first dance. Everyone had a wonderful day celebrating the new couple!
